The Vice President of Finance will play a critical role in shaping and executing our clients financial strategy, with a strong emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and investor relations. This executive will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, driving financial planning and analysis, managing relationships with stakeholders, and leading our M&A activities. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of corporate finance, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in successfully executing M&A transactions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Prepare executive-level financial presentations for the board of directors and stakeholders.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure adherence to financial regulations, corporate policies, and internal controls.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect company assets and ensure financial health.
Strategic Financial Leadership
Develop and execute the companys financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
Provide strategic direction for financial planning, analysis, and forecasting.
Provide insights and guidance on financial implications of strategic decisions and initiatives, particularly related to M&A.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continual professional growth.
Foster collaboration within the finance department and with other departments to drive a unified approach to strategic goals.
Mergers & Acquisitions:
Lead all M&A activities, including target identification, due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration planning.
Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, operations, and business development teams to ensure successful execution of acquisitions.
Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to assess the impact of potential transactions.
Build and maintain relationships with investment banks, financial advisors, and other external partners involved in M&A activities.
Investor Relations:
Manage relationships with current and prospective investors, ensuring clear and effective communication of the companys financial performance, strategy, and future growth opportunities.
Prepare investor presentations, quarterly earnings releases, and annual reports.

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
3+ years focused on M&A.
Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and accounting principles.
Proven track record of successfully leading M&A transactions from inception to execution.
Proven expertise in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, and financial management.
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; proficiency in financial reporting tools and software.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High level of integrity and dependability; comfort in dealing with complex financial situations.
MBA or advanced degree preferred.
