Job Description

The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing quality inspections on in-process and final products. Utilizing a range of inspection techniques and equipment, the Inspector will ensure that all products meet company and customer standards.

Functions:

- Train and mentor new and current employees on department operations and procedures.

- Guide less experienced inspectors, providing solutions, and maintaining rigorous quality control procedures.

- Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and Customer Certification Requirements.

- Assist production teams in adhering to ISO9001 processes.

- Conduct in-process and final inspections with minimal assistance.

- Inspect products received from outside processes and ensure compliance with specifications.

- Perform additional duties as assigned, including participation in audits and compliance projects.

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience indicated for Inspector I

- Minimum of 5 years of inspection experience preferred.

- Extensive knowledge of appliable manufacturing processes.

- Comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001, AS 9100, and/or Medical ISO13485 standards.

- GD&T training certificate from recognized instructor.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, using Mie Trak, SolidWorks, and CMM tools.
