Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a skilled Mobile App Developer for a 3- to 6-month contract to develop
cutting-edge software solutions in support of our FM OnBoard team. This contract role will focus primarily
on building offline-first mobile applications that function seamlessly in low-connectivity environments. A
key aspect of this position will involve using .NET MAUI to build cross-platform applications targeting
Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS through a shared codebase, ensuring consistent functionality across all
platforms with minimal overhead. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in mobile app
development for both Android and iOS, as well as a deep understanding of offline first architectures.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile application development, with a focus on cross platform
solutions.
• Strong expertise in .NET MAUI for building cross-platform applications targeting Android, iOS,
Windows, and macOS through a shared codebase.
• Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, Java, Swift, Kotlin, JavaScript, Python,
C#, etc).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and databases such as PouchDB, CouchDB, or similar solutions.
• Experience optimizing app performance, including memory usage, battery efficiency, and load times.
• Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as .NET MAUI and Flutter
• Experience with secure data synchronization protocols over WiFi, Bluetooth, and USB.
• Proficiency with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to various
audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Knowledge of modern authentication frameworks like OAuth 2.0 and SAML for secure user
authentication.
• Experience working with Blazor Hybrid for embedding web components into native applications.
• Experience working with 2D/3D digital twin technology.
• Experience working in a rapid development environment.
