Job Description
Insight Global is partnering with a consumer packaged goods organization to hire for 4 traveling Maintenance Technicians to join on a fulltime basis.
This position involves installing, maintaining and repairing equipment at client locations by diagnosing technical issues, providing customer support, performing preventative maintenance, and documenting all work performed.
This is a travel heavy role that will require professionals to travel around the Domestic United States to repair, maintain and install production critical machines as it pertains to the packaging industry. Travel expected 70%-80% of the time.

Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, and maintain various equipment and systems at client sites.
Diagnose technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and perform repairs to ensure consistent operation.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring they are satisfied with the equipment and service received.
Document all service visits, repairs, and maintenance activities in detailed reports and company databases.
Train customers on the proper operation and basic maintenance of the equipment.
Order and replace defective parts as needed to complete repairs.
Provide customer support at client sites to optimize packaging system operation with client’s specific products

Required Skills & Experience
Must have 3+ years of experience working as a technician for packaging related machinery
Must be able to read, understand and use technical blueprints, drawings and schematics (electrical/ pnuematic)
Must be willing and able to travel up to 80% of the role
Must have a passport; training will occur at the company's international HQ in Germany
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
A Technical certification, associates, bachelor or masters degree in electro-mechanical or related fields is highly preferred
SAP experience is preferred
