Job Description
A client in the Pacific Northwest is looking for an SRE to join their team! This position is a full-time direct hire role that will be a hybrid onsite set up. In this role you will be helping this organization with monitoring, alerting, supporting the development team deploys into production for hosting and looking at synthetics for performance optimization. As an SRE you will be working with Data Dog, Azure DevOps, Azure Orchestration, Azure Log Analytics, and more. Other tools in the technology stack include: AKS - Azure Kubernetes, and Terraform. In this role we are looking for someone who can support enterprise cloud platforms across non production and production environments (Dev, QA, Perf, Prod, etc.). In this role we want someone who has a good understanding of performance, reliability, and cost performance engineering with FinOps. In this role you would be on the cloud engineering team and work closely with development teams when they are releasing code and ensure it is performing and reacting appropriately and looking at RAM, Synthetics, observability, etc. Additional responsibilities include:
- Owning reliability outcomes for Azure hosted platforms and services
Build and standardizes observability by looking at metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alert quality

Required Skills & Experience
4+ years of professional experience as an SRE Engineer, Build Engineer, Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Azure Engineer, SRE Engineer or similar
4+ years of experience with observability and monitoring experience (logging, metrics, distributed tracing, dashboards, synethic monitoring, real user monitoring (RUM), with Data Dog or similar
4+ years of experience with Azure: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Orchestration, Azure Devops, FinOps, experience with compute, networking, identity, monitoring, and governance fundamentals
Strong Automation skills with Python, Shell, Bash with track record reducing toil
3-4+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC): Terraform preferred, ARM, or similar
