Job Description
A client in the PNW is looking for a Network Engineer to join their team! This position is a 3 month contract with possible extension, that would be 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. In this role you will be focused on working on a firewall replacement project, working on optimizing circuits for branches, upgrading, and working with their field service vendor. In this role you will be working alongside another Network Engineer and work on a team composed of System Engineers. This will be a role that will require some out of work outside of regular business hours to ensure everything is set up for the core infrastructure. This role is a permanent direct hire position that would be hybrid onsite. In this role you will be working on a team of System and Network Engineers. We are looking for someone to join the team and work on project type work. As a Sr. Network Engineer each day will look a bit different and there is an opportunity to learn and grow as an individual. The technology stack of this company consists of, but is not limited to: Windows, Azure, VMware, Fortinet, PowerShell, Storage, Active Directory, and Cisco. Required Skills & Experience
3-6+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar
3+ years of experience with Fortinet: Fortimanager, fortigate, forticloud, forticare, forticonverter, etc.
3+ years of experience with Network Segmentation, Firewalls, Network access control (NAC), Zero Trust Networking Access
Enterprise level experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Azure Cloud Networking Experience
Experience with fortiSASE, FortiNAC, FortiAnalyzer, fortiextender
Experience with Cisco blades and switches, Cisco Meraki Experience
