Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work for one of our healthcare client's in Tacoma, WA. You will work closely with specialty care clinics to improve the specialty pharmacy experience for oncology patients and their caregivers. This is an onsite role at a cancer clinic in Tacoma.
Responsibilities:
- Primarily going to be responsible for dispensing functions including medication ordering, labeling and ensuring proper verification is complete
- Complete prior authorizations
- Source financial assistance on behalf of patients
- Process pharmacy claims
- Coordinate medication dispensing and shipping
- Improve the patient experience by answering questions and requests
- Act as a liaison between the patient, their provider and the pharmacist

Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Washington (must have WA state licensure)
- Experience dispensing medications
- Full-cycle prior authorization experience
- Specialty clinic experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Oncology clinic experience
