Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and talented Web Designer to join our non-profit organization dedicated to providing affordable housing solutions. As a remote team member, youll play a crucial role in enhancing our digital presence and ensuring that our mission reaches a wider audience. Your design skills will directly impact our ability to serve communities in need.

Conceptualize and Design:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user requirements and project goals.
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
Develop original website design concepts that prioritize simplicity, user-friendliness, and accessibility.
User-Friendly Interfaces:
Design and build user-friendly interfaces for our websites.
Optimize websites for maximum speed, scalability, and efficiency.
Ensure seamless navigation and clear calls-to-action.
Content Integration:
Work closely with content creators to integrate text, images, and multimedia elements into the website.
Ensure that content aligns with our organizations mission and values.
Usability Testing and Enhancement:
Test and enhance website designs for usability and accessibility.
Gather feedback from users and iterate on design improvements.
Content Management:
Integrate and maintain content management systems (CMS) to facilitate easy updates.
Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth functionality.

Required Skills & Experience

Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
Solid understanding of web usability, layout aesthetics, and responsive design.
Knowledge of programming languages such as HTML and CSS.
Strong decision-making skills and problem-solving abilities.
Passion for social impact and community development.
