Passionate about media based education? The ATV team is looking for a talented Machine Learning Engineer to help invent, design, and deliver cutting-edge solutions to make it easier for customers to find the next video they will love. In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly influence the recommendations and personalization behind a new educational media experience. You will be part of a team which designs and implements novel solutions related to item discovery problems with notable academic significance. You will work with scientists and engineers within the team, and partner with other science, economics, product and business teams to build a next generation media experience for our customers. You will contribute to the ongoing development of a system which learns from the contents of a video and enables multiple novel video discovery mechanism. There are lots of opportunities to think big and find creative ways to solve a wide set of challenging problems.

* 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
* 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and
existing systems experience.
* 3+ years experience programming with React, Python or Typescript.
* Experience developing complex applications at an enterprise level (emphasis on high bar for coding expectations)
* Familiarity with Pytorch.
* Experience working with recommendation systems or recommender models
* Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language
processing Preferred.
