Job Description

The Back Office team is requesting a Project Management Coordinator resource to support the accounting team. This role will serve as the point of contact to oversee the day-to-day operations of several integration accounting projects, coordinating communication between team members and stakeholders, monitoring progress, and providing regular updates to the Back Office ISL, all while maintaining organization and attention to detail to achieve project goals.


The Project Manager Coordinator will deliver:
Schedule Management: Drive the activities found in the Financial Accounting Plan, including owning meetings, managing follow ups, and providing guidance on timelines and dependencies. Provide project status reporting support for the Back Office ISL
Reporting: Update Smartsheet as needed
Accounting Support: Assist with Accounting activities as needed (maintain Intercompany Matrix, document close procedures etc.) Step in to assist with coverage of accounting areas where need arises
Assist with setup, tracking and evaluation of analytics and controls over Hawaiian information

Required Skills & Experience

1-3 years of project management experience with knowledge of finance/accounting best practices & principles
Bachelor's degree or 2 additional years of functional experience
Excellent organizational skills
Experience with Project Management processes and reporting, and managing timelines
Can work independently once given direction
Ability to lean in and drive workstreams as needed. Role will manage project work but may also be asked to step in to do accounting work as needed.
Good eye for identifying and flagging finance and accounting implications
Understands dependencies with other finance sub-functions (FP&A, treasury)
Able to work with ambiguous stakeholders and directions

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- experience working within an acquisition or migration
- aviation experience or background
