Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a dedicated IT Business Analyst who sits in Seattle, WA to work remotely for a premium cruise line. Youll be responsible for translating product requirements mobile applications into detailed specifications, working closely with stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met and delivering an excellent user experience. Key challenges include balancing business and technical needs, managing ambiguous requirements, and understanding complex systems. The role requires analytical, communication, collaboration, and strategic problem-solving skills to drive products from conception to launch in a fast-paced agile environment.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 5 years experience in a Mobile Application development business analyst role
Experience creating user stories, journey maps, process flows, and other analytical artifacts
Experience with Jira, Confluence
Skills in facilitating workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement gathering sessions
Understanding of project management principles related to resource allocation and timelines
Ability to document business requirements and workflows for enterprise applications
Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations
Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices including continuous integration, delivery, and deployment
Knowledge of industry best practices for systems implementation, testing, and risk management
Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and verbal/written skills
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This client is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).
* Bachelors Degree. Certifications: CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP, Six Sigma (Green or Black) , scrum master cert. staying in this role for long time

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Prior experience in a supervisory capacity a plus
Experience in Cruise/Travel Industry
