Job Description
A cybersecurity expert who has played the role of an Information Security auditor previously shall evaluate an organization's information security posture to ensure that it's adequately protected by assessing existing security controls, policies, and procedures, and recommending improvements to meet the three standards out of the new 34 information Security standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, risk management, and compliance frameworks, including ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls, among others.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in information security, with at least 2 years in a dedicated auditing role.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls).
• Experience conducting audits in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and security governance.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Experience working with any county/state/federal government engagements
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or CRISC.
• Experience with public sector or government IT environments.
• Knowledge of public sector or government IT environments, their operational context, or similar organizational structures.
