GCP Data Engineer

Technical Environment:
- Primary Cloud Platform: Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Data Warehouse: BigQuery
- Staging Layer: BigQuery
- Orchestration Tools: Airflow, Cloud Functions
Job Overview:
We are seeking two experienced Senior Data Engineers to support our analytics reporting team. The ideal candidates will work closely with our analysts to develop robust data models and ETL pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines in BigQuery
- Build data models to support analytics reporting
- Collaborate with analysts to understand and convert business requirements into effective data models
- Support migration of existing Tableau reports to Looker
- Develop data transformations and pipelines using Python and SQL

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 4-5+ years of professional experience in data engineering
- Strong experience with:
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- BigQuery
- Python
- SQL (including complex stored procedures, views, pivots, joins)
- Proven experience in ETL development
- Dimensional modeling expertise

Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare industry experience
- Experience with:
- Cloud Run
- Airflow
- Looker or Tableau reporting tools
