Job Description
Day to Day Responsibilities:
In this role, the Data Analyst will primarily manage a backlog of reporting tickets within a two-week sprint cycle, working closely with business partners to understand their workflow requirements. Daily responsibilities include creating Workbench reports in Epic's Cogito system, modifying patient and HR records, troubleshooting user security access, and potentially developing SQL metrics for complex reporting needs. The analyst will collaborate with a team of three, utilizing office hours for technical guidance and support, and focus on generating accurate and timely reports that meet the organization's data management needs. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Reporting and Analytics:
- Manage and prioritize ticket backlog in two-week sprint cycles
- Create Reporting Workbench reports
- Develop and maintain data models
- Generate reports for business partners
2. Technical Support:
- Collaborate with Epic technical support during office hours
- Resolve user access and security issues
- Modify patient access (PAs) and HRX records
- Troubleshoot data visibility and reporting challenges
3. Stakeholder Interaction:
- Engage with business partners to understand workflow requirements
- Document and map data charting processes in Epic
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations
4. Continuous Learning:
- Participate in team office hours
- Stay updated on Epic system changes and reporting techniques

Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in Epic Cogito reporting tools
- Must be either certified or credentialed in Epic Cogito
- Familiarity with SQL
- Experienced working with and manipulating PAF records and updating HRX, FDM
- Ability to work PST hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with business partners
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with Slicer Dicer tool
- Knowledge of FDM records
