Job Description

This individual will be working closely with the Operations team, heavily involved in writing and copywriting documentation for their intranet rollout. They will be leading the 2nd phase of their intranet refresh project within SharePoint, in which they will interview SMEs within the Operations team to develop various web content for internal employee usage. This person and their peers will be creating several intranet pages and need to very capable in translating written pieces into a more web type style.

Required Skills & Experience

6-8+ years experience in creating, editing, and writing technical documentation
Extensive experience in web copy writing and editing, and developing their own web content
Leadership expereince on a technical writing team, preferably overseeing content rollout
Understands the workability of SharePoint, and can translate content into simple terms within the platform
Ability to deliver high quality content, paying extreme attention to detail
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable by various tiers of support
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Has developed physical security/response documentation
Utilized the project management software, ASANA
Familiarity with Smartsheets
Has worked within a startup and non-profit environment
