Job Description

* Skill emphasis on network design and configuration, able to deliver detailed network design artifacts including design, network diagrams, test plans, and low-level network configuration
* Assists to establish and execute life cycle process for network equipment, including OS patching and upgrades
* Performs installations and configurations of enterprise network devices, including routers, switches, and wireless access points, firewalls and remote access concentrators
* Delivers network deployment projects by creating work break-down structures, work instruction packages, and then tracks to completion all network deliverables for the project
* Assist with the installation, configuration and activation of network data circuits at remote sites

Required Skills & Experience

* 5 years of dedicated and progressive hands-on network engineering experience with LAN/MAN/WAN/Campus sites with 5000+ users
* Experience with STP (Spanning tree protocol) and BGP (border gateway patrol)
* 4 years of hands-on experience with enterprise class equipment such as Cisco IOS, Juniper OS route/switch infrastructure and FortiNet firewalls
* Working knowledge of layer 2 switching technologies, VLAN, spanning tree protocol, and Cisco switching best practices and procedures.
* Familiar with Internet Services providers technology & terminology, data circuit delivery processes and typical data service protocols
* Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
