Job Description

As a Brand Designer at our social housing firm, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our visual identity and ensuring consistent branding across all communication channels. Your creative expertise will contribute to enhancing our brand perception and reinforcing our mission to provide safe and affordable housing.

Responsibilities
Visual Identity Creation:
Develop and maintain a cohesive visual identity for our social housing brand.
Design logos, color schemes, typography, and other brand elements that resonate with our mission and values.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and community engagement.
Translate complex ideas into compelling visual narratives that resonate with our stakeholders.
Brand Guidelines and Assets:
Create and update brand guidelines that define our visual standards.
Produce marketing collateral, including brochures, posters, digital banners, and social media assets.
Digital and Print Design:
Design responsive web pages, landing pages, and email templates.
Craft print materials such as flyers, banners, and signage for community events.
Community Engagement:
Collaborate with community members to gather insights and incorporate their perspectives into the brand design.
Attend community meetings and workshops to understand local needs and aspirations.

Required Skills & Experience

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS for web design.
Experience:
Previous experience in brand design, preferably in the housing or social impact sector.
Passion for social justice and community empowerment.
