Job Description

The analyst will work closely with Security Operations, Network Operations, Global Information Security, and local site IT teams to support the implementation of a new DMZ layer as part of a broader effort to mature the organization’s environment. Responsibilities include firewall deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and operational support, as well as contributing to security best practices and ongoing security initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience working in security operations, firewall administration, or enterprise network/security environments
• Solid understanding of Layer 3 / Layer 4 networking concepts (VLANs, routing, traffic flows) and collaboration with Network Ops teams
• Strong hands‑on experience with Palo Alto firewalls (VM and physical), including deployment, configuration, and support in an enterprise environment
• Experience administering Palo Alto Panorama and managing firewall rules, policies, and perimeter security
• Ability to troubleshoot complex firewall and encryption issues and support security incidents operationally

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with Cisco ASA or other enterprise firewall platforms
• Experience supporting DMZ or iDMZ implementations or large‑scale security infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with virtualized environments (VMware ESXi, Hyper‑V, Azure Local) and cloud technologies
• Exposure to incident response, malware investigation, or security event management
CISSP or equivalent security certification, or related formal security education
