Job Description
A Fortune 500 company is looking for a Mainframe Database Administrator to report onsite in Renton, WA and manage hundreds enterprise level databases in a scalable database solution. In this role, you will serve as the expert at designing, implementing, and maintaining stable, scalable, low cost database solutions. The Database Administrator will design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale, high-volume, high-performance database structures. Implement data structures using best practices in data modeling. This individual will be assisting developers with debugging and tuning of CICS and batch DB2/IMS programs. They will be designing, implementing, and supporting DB2/IMS databases in online transaction and batch environments; as well as generating scripts to migrate DB2 schema changes between environments using IBM DB2 admin tools.

Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of experience as a DB2 DBA in a z/OS environment using IBM utilities
• Strong experience with z/OS JCL, REXX/CLIST and TSO/ISPF
• Well-versed in database design and development in z/OS and COBOL environment
• Working knowledge in Unix and Windows platforms
Experience with DB2 stored procedures
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• ISPW, ERwin, EZTRIEVE are all pluses
Experience with Qlik Replicate is a plus
