Job Description
Serve as the on-site representative to oversee all day-to-day construction activities.
Directly manage contractors: confirm manpower, ensure work is performed per plan, and escalate issues to the Project Manager.
Conduct daily jobsite walks to monitor progress, safety, work quality, and compliance with specifications.
Lead or participate in daily coordination meetings with contractors.
Identify risks, delays, or deviations and promptly report them to the Project Manager.
Verify contractor installations against drawings, standards, and engineering requirements.
Maintain daily logs, documentation, and photo records using Procore or similar tools.
Monitor adherence to schedules and ensure work sequences follow approved plans.
Enforce safety policies and stop work when unsafe conditions occur.
Support RFI resolution by identifying issues in the field and communicating back to engineering/PM.
Assist with change order validation by confirming scope impacts on-site.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience overseeing construction in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong background in supervising field activities, coordinating contractors, and enforcing safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
Proficiency with Procore (or similar field management tool) for daily logs, inspections, and documentation.
Hands-on experience across multiple construction phases such as demolition, concrete, steel erection, electrical, and equipment installation.
Strong communication and reporting skills; able to clearly relay field conditions to the Project Manager and engineering teams.
Demonstrated ability to maintain quality, safety, and progress in dynamic industrial environments.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience as a Construction Superintendent, Foreman, Field Engineer, or Construction Coordinator.
Background working in manufacturing facilities with active production environments.
Structural engineering understanding.
Experience identifying and validating change impacts in the field.
