Job Description

• Develop and manage comprehensive visual merchandising strategies—including fixtures, demo units, graphics, display technologies, and seasonal storytelling—ensuring programs are delivered on brand, on budget, and on time across key channels
• Prioritize a large volume of projects with tight deadlines to meet critical dates for product launches & seasonal refreshes.
• Partner closely with Channel Marketing, Product Marketing, Category, and Creative to develop display programs across a variety of retailer footprints
• Create layouts and displays that maximize product visibility, customer flow, engagement, and conversion
• Build merchandising playbooks, visual standards, and tFoolkits that can be handed off to regional physical merchandising and field teams for localization, production, and consistent execution
• Train and mentor field teams on visual standards, providing clear direction and ongoing feedback to maintain high standards of presentation
• Establish global processes for sharing design, engineering, and visual merchandising guidelines with regional teams and vendors; regularly audit retail environments to ensure adherence and drive continuous improvement
• Partner closely with Product Marketing and Retail Tech/Engineering teams to understand product experience parameters and incorporate them into physical display requirements
• Manage RFQ/RFPs with external vendors and agencies; act as liaison between global fixture vendor partners, graphic companies, channel marketing managers, creative, and marketing on program-related issues
• Lead research pertaining to merchandising—including shopper journey studies, display evaluations, and sales data analysis—and leverage insights to drive merchandising evolution and optimize performance
• Build highly detailed schedules for physical merchandising initiatives (from product launches to temporary elements) and track them from inception to deployment, informing cross-functional partners throughout
• Design experiences for future unreleased products in the roadmap, establishing design requirements including concepting, engineering, and prototyping

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of professional experience in visual merchandising, retail display development, or a related discipline—preferably on either the brand side or vendor/agency side of retail displays across multiple store formats
• Strong creative sensibility with the ability to translate brand vision and shopper insights into compelling physical design requirements and visual concepts
• Proven experience managing complex display programs end-to-end: from concept through design, engineering, prototyping, production, and deployment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and share program updates transparently across broad teams and all organizational levels
• Strong knowledge of retail visual merchandising principles, including the ability to design visual merchandising directives, standards, and scalable processes
• Experience managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors, with demonstrated ability to address conflict swiftly and maintain positive team dynamics
• Extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail with ability to track and articulate the intricacies of complex, global display programs
• Robust understanding of how fixtures and printed elements are designed, engineered, manufactured, shipped, and installed

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• BA/BS degree in Visual Merchandising, Graphic Design, Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Experience within consumer electronics or similar product categories, including developing and building retail displays
• Experience in large format retail store formats (i.e. - 1P retail or Shop in Shop)
• Experience working in a global retail organization with familiarity of international markets, cultures, and retail partner guidelines/processes
• Prior history of working with sales, product, brand, channel marketing, retail tech
• Experience maintaining budgets, fiscal responsibility, and managing vendor negotiations
• Knowledge of executive-level presentation development for leadership and partners
• Familiarity with retail security practices and display technology integration
