Marketing Copy Writer

• Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology
• Maintain records and files of work and revisions
• Confer with client to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication

- Responsible for creating, revising, and reviewing all copy for Minecraft Marketplace, the Minecraft mailers, DLC copy libraries, and various projects.
- Propose copy that meets SEO standards, and keep an updated catalog of best practices via our own data and researching competitors
- Support campaign management for both email and notifications, including pushes to both OS and android.
- Advises on creative themes and philosophies as they tie into major game updates.
- Writing clear and error-free content for a website that reflects the company’s voice
- Meeting with stakeholders to understand their message, brand voice and target audience
- Proposing copy concepts in an engaging way for stakeholders and campaign managers and carrying out projects once they are approved
Interpreting creative direction and technical information and turning them into persuasive copy concepts
Collaborating with PR and marketing departments to brainstorm and develop a variety of marketing materials
-Working with stakeholders to edit and modify copy to meet their content expectations

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or english, journalism, communications
• 0-2 years experience required
• Experience in in creating documentation for a technical audience
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• Ability to read some programming code
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
