Construction Special Inspector (Extensive Travel / Per diem)

Hourly Rate: 30-45/hr depending on certs
Job Overview: Insight Global is seeking a dedicated and qualified ICC-certified Special Inspector to join our clients dynamic team. This role involves active engagement on construction sites, performing special inspections and testing of construction materials in the field. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work on some of the largest and most interesting projects in the area.

Responsibilities:
Perform special inspections and field testing of construction materials
Work on multiple high-profile projects
Collaborate with a team to achieve career development goals
Obtain additional inspection and testing certifications

Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience in the construction industry
ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector certification
ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector certification
ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade 1 certification
Radiation Safety training and soil density testing experience
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Proficiency with MS Office programs and use of company-provided devices
High school diploma or equivalent
Authorization to work in the United States
A strong work ethic and high level of personal integrity

Preferred Certifications:
ICC Structural Steel & Welding Special Inspector
ICC Structural Steel and Bolting Special Inspector
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) from the American Welding Society (AWS)
