Job Description

Lead and guide Production Department Supervisors to meet performance goals
Maintain effective communication across management and operations
Ensure safety, sanitation, quality, and regulatory compliance
Sponsor and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Maximize yields, minimize off-spec product, and optimize throughput
Serve as Subject Matter Expert for butter production processes and equipment
Support training and development of production personnel
Analyze operational reports and address production issues proactively
Partner with Engineering, QA, HR, and EHS to meet facility goals
Lead Lean initiatives and build a culture of accountability and empowerment

Required Skills & Experience

Experience in fluid milk and butter production
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in team environments
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to monitor product and equipment performance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
Experience with Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Process Control, and Lean practices
Familiarity with Oracle, EAM, and PLC-based controls
Strong analytical and procedural development skills
