Job Description

Insight Global is supporting a leading company within the HVAC and piping industry in the search for a Senior Project Manager to support its Industrial Group. This individual will play a critical leadership role overseeing complex, large-scale industrial projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and on budget.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and driving execution across engineering, procurement, and construction environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage multiple industrial projects simultaneously, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal leadership throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and cost forecasts
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractors
• Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
• Monitor project performance and provide regular status updates to senior leadership
• Manage change orders, contract administration, and documentation
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and best practices
Mentor and support junior project managers and project team members

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
• 8+ years of project management experience within industrial, utilities, or construction environments
• Proven experience managing CAPEX project
• Strong understanding of project controls, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
• Experience working with EPC, design-build, or similar project delivery models
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with skills including MS Word, Excel, Project, Access, and AutoCAD, Front Desk, Blue Beam, Smartsheet, and Viewpoint.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

•PMP or similar project management certification
•Experience supporting industrial facilities, process plants, or waste/wastewater facilities
