We’re hiring a Quality Technician III to support Pultrusion and Vinyl manufacturing at Milgard Windows & Doors. This role focuses on hands‑on manufacturing inspection — ideal for candidates from aerospace, metal fabrication, machining, plastics, automotive, or other precision manufacturing environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-4+ years of manufacturing quality/inspection experience
• Strong measurement tool experience
• Solid computer skills and ability to follow detailed work instructions
• Understanding of basic quality tools (DMAIC helpful)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs+
• Strong attention to detail with a growth mindset and a demonstrated eagerness to learn.

Note: Food production and medical device backgrounds do not align with this role.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques used to optimize manufacturing and distribution
• Practical knowledge of engineering electronics, science, and technology, including the application of principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment in product design and production
• Working knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including relevant applications and programming
• Experience with Excel and emailing.

Day to Day:
The Quality Technician III will be responsible for performing visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, rulers, tape measures, and Milgard‑specific tools; reading and interpreting engineering drawings; and completing accurate quality documentation. The role also involves analyzing defect trends, supporting work instruction updates, and partnering closely with production teams to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and ensure effective containment.
