Job Description
An employer is looking for a Guidance Navigation & Control Engineer III in the Everett, WA area. This role will:
Support aircraft production teams by resolving build issues, manufacturing rejections, and test failures
Investigate fleet and in-service aircraft issues and drive corrective actions
Review engineering drawings, requirements, and released designs to identify root causes of issues
Support engineering change implementation and design updates
Work closely with manufacturing, suppliers, quality, and engineering teams to improve producibility and safety
Support test activities and verification efforts as needed
Ensure solutions meet certification, airworthiness, and operational requirements

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
5+ years of engineering experience in aerospace or another highly regulated industry
Experience supporting engineering releases, design changes, drawings, or configuration updates
Experience investigating and solving production, manufacturing, or field support issues
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, requirements, and technical documentation
Experience working cross-functionally with manufacturing, suppliers, quality, and engineering teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience supporting flight control, avionics, navigation, or aircraft systems
Requirements management experience (DOORS or similar tool)
Root cause analysis and failure investigation experience
Manufacturing support or factory support engineering experience
Experience with certification, testing, verification, or validation activities
Systems Safety, FMEA, or Fault Tree Analysis experience
Experience supporting in-service fleet issues and airline customers
