The Facilities Engineer will oversee the design, coordination, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, ventilation, refrigeration, building controls systems and other infrastructure systems across Flukes four-building, 850,000 SF mixed-use facilities in Everett. This role will take full ownership of the HVAC system, serving as the sole source of expertise and responsibility for its operation, maintenance, and optimization. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards, managing capital improvement projects, and driving operational efficiency and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building automation systems (BAS), mechanical systems, and infrastructure planning. · Become the subject matter expert in the Building Automation System (BAS), overseeing daily operations of the facilities MEP systems.
· Plan, coordinate, and implement infrastructure upgrades.
· Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards.
· Maintain up-to-date building layouts and create as-built drawings post-modification.
· Supervise and coordinate contractor activities for maintenance and infrastructure projects.
· Analyze project costs, prepare budgets, and optimize facility operational efficiencies.
· Support and coordinate repairs of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.

Education: Bachelors degree in civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university. Consideration will be given to candidates with degrees in Architectural, Construction Management, or Facilities Management and/or relevant experience. ·
-Minimum of 10 years in a facilities engineering role. ·
-Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is a must.
-Knowledge of commercial HVAC (including chillers), plumbing, and electrical systems. · --Previous experience with building controls systems (example: JCI, Siemens, Honeywell) is required.
· Capital project execution experience is a plus.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of leadership.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. · Experience using Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
· Ability to adapt and work effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment.
