Job Description

In this role, you will be part of the Control Systems Engineering team responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining the control systems that support this companies operation. Your day-to-day activities will include project work, operational support with data, and application upgrades. Ensuring that systems and data are running correctly is crucial, as is coordinating with up to 17 other teams to keep everything aligned. You'll handle requests from various sources to ensure all data is up to date, verify prior day data for energy reporting to the EIA, and manage a custom water application. Additionally, you'll support the Energy Accounting Systems (EAS), custom application and interface software, and databases. The control systems department also oversees SCADA, EMS, GMS, data historian, and other supporting applications, along with the necessary infrastructure such as firewalls, switches, servers, storage arrays, and workstations to manage and secure the environment.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in engineering, Technology or 2 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. (working in an energy co real time op desk, marketer energy, worked with CIPs ,OAITs, energy tagging system)
6 or more years of experience in maintaining applications providing 24x7 support of critical operations, with at least 3 of those years supporting energy accounting applications (energy tagging based applications).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Professional Engineer (PE).
Knowledge of energy markets.
