Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a UX Director to join their clients team. This is not a people manager role. This candidate will act as a UX Lead and point person for their specific office location, helping lead 5 other UX designers, but those designers will not be reporting into this person. Ideal split is 60% hands on delivery and 40% strategic direction and leadership. You will be partnering directly with the Global Head of UX.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/.

Required Skills & Experience

• 9+ years of experience within the UX Space
o Not looking for a traditional Sr. UX Designer! Strong need for business oriented UX Leadership, not purely technical or research heavy designers
o Ideal candidates can translate UX work into business value outcomes, influence stakeholders who don’t fully understand UX, and lead without “imposing their way” on an established culture
• Strong preference for candidates with consulting or agency backgrounds
• Must come from an enterprise environment, with experience presenting to executive level stakeholders
o Must have the ability to tell clear stories. Poor storytelling or communication is a deal breaker, even with a strong portfolio
• Experience working on a UX team that works closely with Bas and other business units to define requirements and design complex enterprise applications, not simple websites.
o Complex internal systems
o Client Portals
o Enterprise Applications
• Experience with Figma

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in financial services, healthcare, or insurance
• Salesforce

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
