Job Description
Design and optimize NGS workflows including library preparation, sample QC, and sequencing runs.
Operate and maintain NGS platforms (e.g., Illumina, Ion Torrent, PacBio).
Perform bioinformatics analysis of sequencing data using tools such as Python, R, and commercial pipelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in clinical research, bioinformatics, and product development.
Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sequencing and data analysis.
Interpret results and present findings to internal stakeholders and external partners.
Stay current with advances in NGS technologies and applications.

Required Skills & Experience
Education: BS/MS/PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Bioinformatics, or related field.
Experience: 2–5+ years of hands-on experience in NGS workflows and data analysis.
Proficiency in molecular biology techniques (e.g., DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR).
Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and statistical analysis platforms.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience in a CLIA/CAP-certified lab or regulated environment is a plus.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with 10X Genomics, spatial transcriptomics, or single-cell sequencing.
Knowledge of clinical trial assay workflows and biomarker development.
Certifications in AWS Machine Learning, SAS, or Python are advantageous.
