Job Description
1. Operate scanning equipment and OCR software (AWS Textract, OpenText OCR) to digitize documents, photos, and records.
2. Perform rigorous quality control (QC) on extracted field values, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across large datasets.
3. Validate and correct 20,000+ attributes daily, adhering to predefined data standards and workflows.
4. Optimize scan settings for clarity and troubleshoot technical issues with hardware/software.
5. Organize and catalog digital files, maintaining strict naming conventions and folder structures.
6. Audit and reconcile discrepancies in scanned data, working with cross-functional teams to resolve errors.
7. Meet daily production targets (1,000+ documents) while maintaining >99% accuracy.
8. Follow security protocols for handling sensitive or confidential materials.

Required Skills & Experience
1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in data processing or OCR tools a plus.
2. 1+ years of experience with AWS Textract, OpenText OCR, or similar document extraction tools.
3. Proven experience QC’ing high-volume datasets (1,000+ docs/day; 20,000+ attributes).
4. Strong customer service.
5. Exceptional attention to detail—ability to spot inconsistencies in text, numbers, and formatting.
6. Proficiency with scanning hardware, OCR workflows, and basic data validation scripts (e.g., Excel macros).
7. Ability to work independently under tight deadlines with repetitive, detail-oriented tasks.
8. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with metadata tagging or database management.
• Familiarity with document retention policies and compliance standards.
