Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to support a major healthcare organization in the Greater Seattle area. This PM will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of high‑visibility technology and infrastructure projects, including large wireless access point replacements, enterprise content management initiatives, clinical and business application enhancements, and OnBase technical upgrades. The ideal candidate brings strong healthcare IT experience, hands‑on technical project management skills, and the ability to coordinate across clinical departments, service lines, IS teams, and vendors. This role will own full project lifecycle delivery, drive risk and issue resolution, ensure project governance alignment, and keep leadership informed through consistent reporting. This is a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment requiring exceptional organization, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead full project lifecycle: initiation → planning → execution → monitoring → closeout
Create and manage project charters, scope, schedules, budgets, and quality objectives
Support large infrastructure initiatives, including replacing 800+ wireless access points across hospital and clinic sites
Coordinate with service lines, clinical departments, emergency department, and hospital leadership on deployment schedules
Support OnBase technical upgrades and enterprise content management initiatives
Support enterprise clinical and business application projects (PACS, Dragon, M365, cybersecurity, imaging apps, etc.)
Facilitate vendor coordination, resource planning, and technical delivery timelines
Identify risks and mitigation plans; escalate issues appropriately
Produce weekly/monthly reports and maintain project dashboards
Track timelines, financials, risks, and deliverables; maintain all PM documentation
Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders across departments

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years project management experience (4 of those years recently as a technical PM)
3+ years' experience in healthcare IT
Strong background supporting infrastructure projects, technical upgrades, migrations, and go‑lives
Experience with clinical (non-epic) applications & business applications
Experience managing validation/testing cycles
Experience working with vendor partners and cross‑department coordination
Expertise with Smartsheet or similar PM tools

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

PMP certification
Background with enterprise content management
Experience replacing or deploying wireless access points (WAPs)
Experience with OnBase upgrades
Change management experience across large healthcare organizations
