Job Description

Key requirements :

o Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end testing frameworks and tools like:
• Cypress or Playwright
• Jest
• React Testing Library
• Vite
• Postman/Bruno
o Hands-on experience with automation testing tools Cypress or Playwright for end-to-end (E2E) testing.
o Familiarity with mocking libraries (e.g., Sinon.js, Mock Service Worker (MSW)).
o Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
o Experience with version control systems GitLab
o Ability to work with CI/CD tools for test automation integration.
o Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
o Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
o Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:
o Develop and execute E2E automation regression tests, unit tests for React, node applications using unit testing tools like Jest, React Testing Library, vite.
o Write and maintain End to End component and API automation tests using Cypress or Playwright.
o integration tests to validate API connections and business logic.
o Collaborate with developers to implement test-driven development (TDD) and ensure code quality.
o Create reusable test frameworks and utilities to streamline automated testing.
o Integrate testing pipelines with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
o Debug issues identified during testing and provide solutions to optimize performance.
o Ensure high code coverage and maintain test documentation.
o Perform code reviews and contribute to improving testing practices across the team.
o Monitor and report test results, ensuring that defects are documented and tracked effectively.

Required Skills & Experience

o Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript).
o Experience with testing tools Cypress/Playwright and Gherkin (BDD), Jest, React Test Library ,
o Knowledge of software testing methodologies (e.g.white-box, regression test, unit test and performance testing).
o Knowledge on test management tools like qTest, Test Rail, Jira and Confluence.
o Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins).
o Understanding of Agile and DevOps principles.
o Excellent communication skills
