Job Description

Were looking for a Lead Performance Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for driving the performance, scalability, and reliability of our internal cloud platform. You will proactively define, track, and optimize metrics for SLA compliance, CPU and storage efficiency, and infrastructure capacity forecasting. As a subject matter expert, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams while guiding observability strategy and tooling requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

· 7+ years of experience in performance engineering, systems monitoring, or cloud infrastructure roles
· Expertise in private cloud or on-prem environments
· Proficiency with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, and Scout
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex telemetry and trend data
· Proven track record of delivering capacity plans and driving infrastructure optimization
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, IT, and operational teams

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Experience contributing to performance frameworks or SLA definitions
· Familiarity with workload benchmarking or performance certification practices
· Understanding of system dependencies between compute, storage, and network infrastructure
Clear communication skills with the ability to advocate for improvements through data
