Job Description

Design and develop EDI solutions to support business requirements and ensure seamless data exchange between systems.
Create and maintain EDI maps using standard formats such as X12, EDIFACT, and XML.
Analyze and troubleshoot EDI transactions and resolve errors related to transmission, formatting, and processing.
Work with trading partners to set up and test EDI connections and ensure compliance with agreed standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EDI with ERP systems and other applications.
Implement processes to monitor and ensure the reliability and accuracy of EDI transactions.
Document EDI processes, configurations, and mappings for future reference and maintenance.
Stay up-to-date with EDI technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance performance and reliability.
Provide support and training to stakeholders on EDI processes and tools.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience in Software Development
Proven experience in EDI development and integration.
Strong knowledge of EDI standards, including X12, EDIFACT, and XML.
Proficiency in EDI mapping tools and translators (e.g., Gentran, Sterling Integrator, BizTalk, or similar tools).
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
Solid understanding of network protocols and connectivity (FTP, SFTP, AS2, etc.).
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Knowledge of APIs and web services integration.
Familiarity with cloud-based EDI solutions.
Experience with database management and SQL.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within deadlines.
