Job Description

A large utility company is looking for a Communications Specialist to join their team. This person will report to the IT Strategy and Communications team, whose responsibility is to support IT and business alignment through delivery of timely and relevant messages.
This person will help manage and implement the framework and approach for strategic IT communications and marketing to raise awareness of key and critical work impacting employees within and outside of IT. They will specifically work on:
- Digital Workplace Transformation
o Internal marketing campaign development and execution
o Development of employee DEX notifications
o DWT Monthly Information session PPT creation
o Executive-level steering committee content
o PC Refresh employee communications
- Employee Center (ServiceNow) rollout
- SAP projects
- Other capital project support as needed

Required Skills & Experience

Strong background in corporate communications, preferably with experience in IT, technology projects, and/or Microsoft products
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible messaging
Experience developing and implementing internal communications, marketing strategies, and project materials for use by general (non-technical) audiences Including Marketing content creation for SharePoint project sites, MS Teams channels
Strong knowledge of Microsoft PPT, MS Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Video creation experience (for internal employee audiences)
SharePoint team site development or maintenance experience
Familiarity with AI a bonus
