A client in the power industry is looking to add a Pad Mount Application Engineer to their team in Wytheville, VA. They will be responsible for drawing reviews daily, coordinating and leading project progress with the factory and customers. Overtime they will be responsible for supervising a 1-2 people. They will be assisting in the customization of standardized products based on projects and customer needs and work with the international engineering team (Malaysia, China, and Wytheville). Work hours: 9-5 or 8-4:30. Fully on site and after 6-month performance review they can be eligible to work hybrid.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
5-10 years in transformer manufacturing, design or application engineering
Experience with pad mount or liquid filled distribution
Direct experience work with transformers pads or dry type
