Job Description

Lead commissioning and activation of a new mobile launch site in Texas, eventually moving to Wallops Island, VA for launch
Oversee initial infrastructure setup: connections, power-on, system verifications
Serve as the final sign-off authority before launch operations commence
Coordinate task planning, team scheduling, and execution of launch operations
Interface with satellite customers to ensure mission requirements are met
Collaborate with the Texas team on system upgrades and integration
Provide direct engineering feedback on installation and design issues
Ensure successful launch and operation of Alpha vehicles
Write and execute operational procedures
Utilize tools such as Jira (task management) and Confluence (internal documentation)

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in engineering
10+ years in a technical or project engineering role
5+ years in aerospace leadership, managing complex systems
Experience with commissioning, activation, and operation of launch/test sites
Strong background in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering
