Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Epic Healthy Planet Lead IT Analyst to join our IT team. This role is responsible for the support, optimization, and enhancement of Epic’s Healthy Planet, Compass Rose, Clinical Case Management, and EpicCare Link applications, ensuring efficient system performance and integration with business and clinical operations. This role involves evaluating software releases, analyzing business needs, troubleshooting application issues, and recommending solutions to improve processes and reduce costs. The Lead IT Analyst plays a key role in workflow assessments, system testing, and project coordination, while also providing on-call application support and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technology with organizational goals. This role is ideal for a seasoned IT professional who excels in application support, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration while leading strategic technology initiatives within an organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the configuration and maintenance of Epic Healthy Planet, Compass Rose, CCM, and EpicCare Link applications.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to understand population health related workflows and goals in order to translate them into Epic workflows.
• Design and implement solutions that support care management, quality improvement, and risk stratification.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Healthy Planet, CCM, EpicCare Link applications and provide guidance on best practices and optimization opportunities.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
• Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of Epic functionality.
• Provide training and support to end-users and analysts.
• Stay current with Epic updates and industry trends in population health and value-based care.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a degree (Required)
• 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree (Required)
• Experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
• Epic Healthy Plant Certification/Accreditation (Required)
• Epic Healthy Plant Certification/Accreditation, with application build experience (Required).
• Build experience with other Epic applications/modules such as Clinical Case Management, Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer (Preferred)
• Familiarity with CMS quality programs, HEDIS measures, and risk adjustment (Preferred).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with CMS quality programs, HEDIS measures, and risk adjustment.
• Knowledge of SQL or other data query languages.
• Build experience with other Epic modules such as EpicCare Ambulatory, Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer,
