Insight Global is seeking passionate and qualified educators to support a highly regarded Spanish Immersion Program within an 80/20 environment at local public Middle School. We are hiring multiple a Middle School Spanish Immersion Teachers to support bilingual education initiatives.
This position provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a diverse learning environment while helping students become proficient in both English and Spanish.
Day to Day:
Deliver engaging instruction in Spanish and English within a dual-language immersion environment.
Teach core academic subjects within Language Arts/Social Studies in English and Math/Science in Spanish.
Collaborate closely with co-teachers and grade-level teams to ensure student success.
Develop lesson plans aligned with Virginia Standards of Learning (SOLs).
Assess student performance and provide regular academic feedback.
Prepare report cards and maintain accurate student records.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, administrators, and staff in both Spanish and English.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and quarterly immersion program meetings.
Support a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
80/20:
Responsible to teach all core subjects primary in Spanish.
Require strong academic Spanish proficiency
Must hold Middle School teaching credentials
Compensation: $55,687.00 to $90,347.00 annually. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Required Skills & Experience
Active Virginia Teaching License (Collegiate Professional, Postgraduate Professional, Provisional, or equivalent).
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Middle School (K-12) Education certification for elementary openings.
Spanish endorsement or demonstrated Spanish fluency for immersion positions.
Ability to communicate professionally in both written and spoken Spanish and English.
Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
Experience working with diverse student populations.
Ability to Pass State of Virginia Background Check and Drug Screening.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Prior experience in dual-language immersion education.
Native or near-native Spanish fluency.
Experience teaching academic content in Spanish.
Experience collaborating with co-teachers and multidisciplinary teams.
ESL, bilingual education, or language acquisition experience.
