Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Federal Registered Architect with eight or more years of experience. This individual will act as a team lead, responsible for planning, prioritizing, and driving projects forward. The design work will focus on projects for the Federal Government and Department of Defense (DoD), including SCIFs, barracks, hangars, training facilities, dining halls, and more. These projects are moderate to large in scale.

The position offers a hybrid work schedule, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, if desired. The team consists of 25+ individuals, divided into smaller groups of around 8 people. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, diligent, a team player, and growth-oriented.

Required Skills & Experience

* Ability to obtain Secret clearance
* 7+ years of experience in facility / building architecture design
* 4+ years in the Federal / DoD / Government space
* Experience with Revit or strong planning skills
*Ability to travel (10% or less)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* AIA Licensed / NCARB Registered Architect
* Experience designing SCIF's (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility)
* Strong familiarity with UFC's (Unified Facility Criteria)
* Experience with Rhino, SketchUp, or other similar software
* Keen eye for aesthetic design and development in federal space
