Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Epic Inpatient Clinical Case Management Analyst with 5+ years of Epic build, configuration, and optimization experience within acute care settings. Specialized in Epic Predictive Models and Inpatient Clinical Case Management, supporting care coordination, discharge planning, and complex patient management. Proven ability to develop predictive tools that identify high-risk inpatients, forecast discharge readiness, and improve patient flow across hospital systems. Recognized for strong analytical expertise, workflow design, and collaboration with multidisciplinary inpatient teams to enhance outcomes and operational efficiency.

Technical & Functional Skills:
• Epic Inpatient Clinical Case Management design, build, and optimization
• Epic Predictive Model development and deployment (Cognitive Computing, readmission risk, discharge readiness)
• Inpatient care coordination and discharge planning workflows
• Consult and inpatient referral management
• Utilization management and transitions of care
• Reporting Workbench / SlicerDicer / EpicCare Link
• Testing, validation, and troubleshooting of Epic inpatient functionality
Compensation: $70/hr to $80/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Required Skills & Experience

• Epic Clinical Case Management Certification/Accreditation (Active)
• 5–7 years of Epic experience focused on inpatient Clinical Case Management build and predictive model implementation.
• Proven success supporting inpatient care coordination, discharge planning, and patient flow optimization.
• Build experience across Epic modules including EpicCare Inpatient, Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, and EpicCare Link.
• Strong understanding of inpatient workflows, utilization management, and regulatory requirements.
