Job Description

The Director IT - Cyber Resilience, Cyber Security Business Lines & Commercialization, will serve as an integral team member responsible for establishing the vision, developing and owning the cyber resiliency strategy, prioritization and deployment to support Sentara Health requirements. The individual will establish a robust end to end operational support framework in collaboration with cyber security leadership, enterprise functions, business partners and IT. The position requires technical leadership in developing and implementing a comprehensive cyber resilience program that safeguards patient safety and data, clinical operations, and healthcare delivery systems.
Compensation: $95/hr to $105/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, and cyber resilience.
Proven track record in a leadership role within a large organization, preferably in healthcare or a related industry.
Experience in developing and implementing business resiliency strategies and programs.
Experience in leading implementation of technical security solutions within large organizations.
Experience developing and implementing process-based security controls, processes, and capabilities.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to information security. e.g. HIPAA, NIST.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into effective security solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proven track record of driving security initiatives and achieving measurable results.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
Agile, LEAN or Six Sigma experience.
