Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a qualified Computer Field Technician in support of one of our healthcare clients in Virginia Beach VA. This candidate will be supporting the annual computer replacement initiative. The day‑to‑day will include:
· Replace and deploy end-of-life computers for both clinical and non-clinical users, including remote workers.
· Image, configure, and test computers to ensure full functionality, including print services and user-specific requirements.
· Utilize Intune for device enrollment, policy deployment, application delivery, and compliance monitoring.
· Manage Active Directory (AD) and Intune groups for device and user assignments as needed.
· Ensure accurate LWS (Lifecycle Workstation Services) record management and proper documentation of device actions.
· Maintain up-to-date asset inventory, tracking all computer equipment from deployment through disposal.
· Follow established procedures for equipment asset disposal, ensuring compliance with data security protocols.
· Provide clear communication and customer service to end users during equipment replacement activities.
Compensation: $20/hr - $25/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Required Skills & Experience
· High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in Information Technology or related field preferred.
· 1-2 years’ experience in IT support or hardware deployment roles preferred.
· Proficiency in Windows imaging, Microsoft Intune, and Active Directory, ServiceNow
· Experience with inventory tracking systems and asset management.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to work effectively across clinical and non-clinical settings and with remote user populations.
