Job Description

Role Summary
We’re seeking a proven Senior Safety Manager to lead, mentor, and elevate our site-wide safety culture across a high-profile hyperscale data center program. This role will own strategic and day-to-day safety operations, partner directly with the client and trade partners, and drive continuous improvement with a coaching mindset. Ideal candidates have deep mission-critical experience, strong client presence, and a passion for building systems and people.

Job Description
• Lead overall site safety for a large data center campus.
• Manage and mentor a team (lead + 2 assistant safety managers).
• Serve as primary safety liaison with a high‑profile client.
• Oversee SSSP, OSHA compliance, and all high‑risk work controls.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and corrective action follow-up.
• Lead incident investigations and drive root‑cause corrective actions.
• Approve JHAs/PTPs and support safe execution of electrical & commissioning work.
• Deliver safety training and reinforce a strong, coaching-driven culture.
• Track safety KPIs and provide clear reporting to project leadership.
• Support startup and safety planning for a new data center campus.


Qualifications
• 8–12+ years of construction safety experience; mission-critical/data center projects strongly preferred.
• Prior leadership of multi-building or campus scale programs as GC.
• Certifications: OSHA 30; CHST/CSP/CSHO
• Demonstrated excellence in client engagement, stakeholder management, and executive communication.
Strong track record of building teams and culture, coaching field leaders, and sustaining improvement.
