Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join a mid‑size organization supporting core accounting and operational finance functions. This individual will play a key role in the month‑end close process, preparing journal entries, managing account reconciliations, and supporting fixed asset accounting.
Responsibilities:
• Own and maintain the general ledger for assigned entities/accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Prepare, review, and post monthly standard journal entries, including fixed assets, as part of month‑end and quarter‑end close processes.
• Perform detailed balance sheet account reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support and help drive month‑end and quarter‑end close activities, ensuring deadlines and quality expectations are met.
• Lead fixed asset accounting processes, including monthly fixed asset entries, capital project spend approvals, and tracking and reporting of Construction in Progress (CIP) balances.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (FP&A, Operations, etc.) to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules; support variance analysis and provide operational insights to management.
• Analyze financial results, prepare variance explanations, and provide insight into trends to management
• Utilize the ERP system for reporting, data pulls, and reconciliations
• Support internal and external audit requests by providing schedules and documentation as needed

Required Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
• 5–7 years of accounting experience with a strong general ledger focus
• Hands-on experience owning journal entries and month-end close
• Experience leading and owning fixed asset processes
• Proven experience preparing account reconciliations (balance sheet focus)
• Strong experience working within an ERP system
• Ability to analyze financial results, investigate variances, and explain trends
• Strong Excel and analysis skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
