The Senior Accountant partners with key business units to deliver accurate, GAAP-compliant financial reporting and provide deep visibility into costs associated with a divestiture. This role owns accounting processes related to Transition Services Agreement (TSA) costs, non‑GAAP eligible adjustments, and separation‑specific cost tracking. They will execute core accounting functions, maintain controls, and support cross-functional initiatives across the Controllership organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Track and maintain all separation and TSA-related costs, including non‑GAAP eligible items, cost visibility metrics, and nominal balancing checks.
• Own general ledger activity by executing journal entries (SAP, JD Edwards/EnterpriseOne), performing cost reconciliations, and ensuring GAAP‑compliant accuracy.
• Monitor SOX and accounting controls related to separation workstreams, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
• Provide financial insights to business partners, explaining cost drivers, collaborating cross‑functionally, and supporting separation-related initiatives.
• Improve and streamline accounting processes, leveraging ERP systems (SAP, E1, HFM/Essbase, BlackLine) and supporting standardization across the Controllership team.

Required Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of accounting experience (CPA not required).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, cost accounting concepts, and general ledger operations.
• Experience with large-scale ERP systems (SAP, Oracle/EnterpriseOne, JD Edwards).
Familiarity with financial consolidation or journal-entry tools (Hyperion Financial Management/HFM, Essbase, BlackLine).
