Insight Global is looking for a seasoned IT Project Manager to support one of our excess and surplus insurance clients. The client is in the beginning stages of implementing a third-party AI automation tool, across multiple operating units, to enhance their underwriting capabilities. This individual will lead this critical project from its initial stages, organizing meetings, tracking and mitigating risks, and maintaining project documentation while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors. Excellent communication skills are required as you will beinteracting with various dynamic teams. The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of IT project management experience, a proven track record with implementing third-party solutions, and strong leadership and communication skills. Experience with Visio or similar tools and working in an Agile environment is required. A bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field is necessary. Experience in the insurance sector and familiarity with underwriting software are preferred. This is a remote position that has the potential to convert to permanent employment. The target pay rate for this position is between $55-60/hr and is based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Full focus on the implementation project.
- Meeting Management: Organize and run project meetings and status updates.
- Risk Management: Track, identify, and mitigate project risks.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external vendors.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Goal Setting: Set project goals and maintain project timeframes and budgets.
- Team Coordination: Manage resources and coordinate project team members.
- Strategy Implementation: Implement IT strategies to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Performance Tracking: Use project management tools to track performance and schedule adherence.
- Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
