Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Safety Manager in the DMV area. This candidate is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs, policies, and practices to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. This role also monitors adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
Ensure compliance with current safety regulations through inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
Lead incident investigations and reporting and drive preventive measures.
Deliver and promote safety training and awareness across all employee levels.
Analyze safety data to identify trends and present findings to management.
Manage emergency preparedness, including response plans and drills.
Oversee vendor and contractor safety compliance.
Maintain accurate and compliant safety records and documentation.
Compensation:
$100,000 to $135,000 per year annual salary

Required Skills & Experience
Proven previous experience as a Safety Manager in a similar industry.
Experience managing safety professionals.
Expertise in Fall Protection, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms & Electrical Safety
Familiarity with safety management systems.
OSHA 510 or 511 works
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)
Current First Aid, CPR, AED Instructor certification (NSC preferred)
OSHA #3115 Fall Protection (formerly OSHA #3110 Fall Arrest Systems)
OSHA #7115 Lockout/Tagout
NFPA 70E certification (2021 edition or later)
